Doctor Pablo Umbert Millet
Professor Pablo Umbert opens his doors for those who want to share their experiences with him.
Dr. Umbert succeeded in developing a new unit and earned the title of “Chef de Clinique” at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota (USA) for two years where he acquired sound scientific methodology and criteria.
His teaching and healthcare activities have been carried out at the Sagrado Corazón University Hospital of Barcelona UB. Currently as professor emeritus.
That long journey that has taken him to many different parts of the world, looking to grow on a professional and personal level are what have allowed him to successfully complete the two most important things in his life:
professional and personal career, Dr. Umbert speaks four languages (Catalan, Spanish, English and French). One way of thinking, a way of planning, a way of living …
Dermatopathological Institute Pablo Umbert
The Pablo Umbert dermatological Institute has assembled a team of collaborators, mostly former disciples, together with sanitary technicians, specializing in specific techniques.
They have a state of the art laboratory in Dermatopathology where problem tissues undergobiopsy, immunofluorescence, monoclonal antibodies, IHC (immunohistochemistry) which are routine procedures to give precise diagnosis.
The Institute covers all areas of Dermatology: Skin, hair, and nails (pathologically and cosmetically).
We have a spacious infrastructure: consultation and operating rooms where several interventions can be performed simultaneously. We provide state of the art equipment and anesthetists for sedation or anesthesia of short duration..
We also conduct video conference consultations from our center.
