A tailored treatment for hair loss is our therapeutic choice.

Thanks to the high permeability of the scalp–it has 100,000-hair follicles- and the rich underlying vascular plexus, topical treatments have a formidable local and systemic effect.

This allows us to treat various types of alopecia very effectively:

  • Androgenic Alopecia
  • Senile Alopecia
  • Alopecia Areata
  • Scarring Alopecia
  • Telogen Effluvium
  • Seborrheic Alopecia

Hair Loss Treatment

Topical treatments can be formulated with different active ingredients depending on the pathology to be treated. Therefore, before prescribing any treatment, our Beautyderm team will perform the necessary tests to diagnose your problem accurately.

The diagnostic tests can be performed in one or several sessions, depending on the problem to be treated. In addition to the TrichoScan Digital Studio, it is also useful to conduct a microscopic analysis of the hair that falls during washing, allowing us to assess the length and stem morphology (hair).

Once diagnosis is obtained, a personalized treatment is formulated, based on active ingredients and excipients known to be not only effective, but also easy to use and with good cosmetic acceptability such as drops or alcoholic gels.

These are some of the active ingredients that are often used:

  • Minoxidil 2-5%
  • Corticosteroids (predincarbato, hydrocortisone, triamcinolone, clobetasol ...)
  • Retinoids
  • Imidazole Derivatives
  • Antiandrogens (hydroxyprogesterone, 17 alpha estradiol, finesteride)
  • Sensitizers (diphencyprone)
  • Biological Extracts
  • Vitamins
  • Amino Acids
  • Mineral Salts

The high efficiency of the custom formulations prescribed by Beautyderm are based on three factors: the use of active ingredients that are not included in commercial products. We combine several principles in a single formula to treat various problems and treat associated diseases such as seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, autoimmune diseases, etc. We provide the adequate and precise medication depending on our patient’s pathology.

During treatment, with some types of Alopecia the application of topical treatment is combined with administration of diluted corticosteroids or other active ingredients with mesotherapy.

After treatment the results will depend on the treated disease. For example, Scarring Alopecia is achieved by stopping the progression of the disease, in Female Androgenic Alopecia, 20% see an improvement in hair density and with Alopecia Areata total re population of the hair can be achieved.
